A new web site is presently under development and will include new features. Following some expanded server capacity, I'm expecting to launch the framework for the site in Summer 2010.
Here's what to expect on the new site . . .
- Traffic Operations Policy and Information Center (TOPIC) - A new site devoted to traffic engineering, including rich, detailed single-sheet overviews of critical traffic engineering policy issues.
- Professional Biography and Professional Development Overview - in addtion to providing a professional biographical sketch, I'll post links to my résumé, examples of design and operations work that I've performed, the pages of professional societies in which I'm involved, and provide information on the latest traffic engineering, human factors, and social factors issues that I'm examining, via a new blog that I'll be launching in Fall 2010. Special pages will be provided for in-depth examinations of issues that have been examined in the field.
- A return of some of the decade-old classic pages, including the Automobiles page.
- Links to public Facebook photograph galleries of my travels, including the 2007 Alaska / Yukon / Dempster Highway motorcycle trip, various selected photographs from Washington State motorcycle adventures, and new galleries from Italy, Dubai, Cairo, and Geermany.
- Finally . . . more photographs of road signs. What's the point in taking photographs if I never post them, right?
